QASL is a wonderful organization. When I heard about The Social Scene, my first thought was “this has been put in place for Individuals just like (my son) Jordan”. He gets to spend time with his friends, and most importantly, he gets out in the community. He absolutely loves it. The staff is phenomenal. We are blessed to be involved with such amazing people.
QASL has had a very positive experience for my son Cole over the last 2 years since he started. He has been engaged in the many social activities they provide and it is such a joy for us to see him thriving in this environment. Bowling ,swimming, ice cream socials, music at Hank Snow, walks at the beach and nearby parks, shopping trips, movie days, and barbeques are just a few examples of the fun activities. This is comforting as a parent to know that when your son leaves for the day that he is excited to be part of such a wonderful organization. The smiles say it all! You could not ask for any better staff!!

Donations help QASL provide opportunities, supports and experiences that enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Depending on current needs, donations may support programs, activities, equipment, employment opportunities, community participation, or other initiatives that directly benefit the people we support.
Yes. Donors can let us know if they have something specific in mind for their donation. For example donations made in memory of a family member have sometimes been requested to support a particular program, activity, or initiative that has special meaning to them. Otherwise, donations are directed where they are most needed.
Yes. QASL is a registered charity, and eligible donations receive an official charitable tax receipt.
Donations are used to support QASL’s mission and the priorities of the people we support. QASL follows established financial controls and reporting practices, with oversight through our Board of Directors.

Donations can be made through our office in Milton – we accept cash, cheques, debit and credit. For every donation made, a Charitable Tax Receipt can be requested.
